He made his test debut against England on June 21, 1996 and ODI against Sri Lanka on April 3, 1996. He is the third Indian batsmen to score more than 10,000 runs and 6th batsmen in the world to achieve10, 000 marks. He is nicknamed as “The Wall” by the opponent bowlers and “Jammy” by his team mates. Rahul was the highest run scorer in the 1999 World Cup. Dravid is the only batsman who involved in two 300 runs Partnership in ODI. He has the record of 3rd highest number of half centuries. Dravid captaincy has a record of winning 15 consecutive matches While Chasing. Under his captaincy, India Have won a test match against South Africa in South Africa and historic test series win in England.
